PRESS RELEASE
For Release: 18th September 2014
IRCM lends Legitimacy to Coaching and Mentoring
Consumers are becoming more and more savvy when it comes to researching the goods and services that they purchase. With the recent economic downturn, money is tighter than ever, and business owners do not want to spend money on services that will not enact real and positive change in themselves or in their companies. This means that mentors and coaches are being investigated more heavily than ever, to ensure that they are who they say they are. Instead of hoping, consumers want to know before they even set up a consultation, if the person they could potentially be doing business with is legitimate or not.
This is where the IRCM comes in. As the world’s first and only independent registry for coaches and mentors, the IRCM lists each coach and mentor with as much or as little information as they coach or mentor wishes to share with the public. In addition the bodies that bestow accreditation on mentors and coaches, as well as all other coaching‐related professional and trade associations, are registered on http://www.ircm‐register.org/ and this is the best way to boost your business’s legitimacy.
There is already plenty of information about you out in the public domain, whether on your website, or from customer reviews, or through professional association webpages. The IRCM gathers this information and displays it. Although the information is not thoroughly investigated to ensure that any and all claims can be backed up by real, concrete evidence; your profile on the IRCM Register means that any and all customers can easily find and confirm all of the information they need to know about you, even before they set up a consultation. You are being transparent.
Because the IRCM is completely independent, they answer only to the Government Regulator who looks after the buying public. When you confirm your status on IRCM, the public can see that you do actually have the training and expertise you say you have. This is one register where legitimate coaches and mentors gather to build their profiles, and find new clients, without forcing those clients to wade through thousands of sites and illegitimate profiles.
You know you have the qualifications, and a claimed profile on IRCM allows the consumer to know, too. The IRCM’s platform provides the most complete information about you as a coach or mentor, which is the best way for consumers to make the right decision and to really understand what they are getting when they hire you.
Claiming your Listing or Registering with IRCM can only improve your business. For coaches and mentors who want to improve their legitimacy and boost the standing of their business, this is one of the best ways. The bright green checkmarks on your profile will help a consumer instantly know whether or not you are what you have claimed to be, and each profile even includes your telephone number and email address.
Legitimacy is of the utmost importance in the world of coaching and mentoring and building legitimacy organically can take decades. In this industry, it is especially important for consumers to know that they are working with the best professional. The IRCM Register helps your future clients know this about you.

September 18, 2014 at 10:35 pmYou’re absolutely right, as a business owner I certainly wouldn’t spend my money on just any service without being completely certain that it’s legitimate. I know how beneficial it is to have a mentor, and I highly recommend it to anyone, but not without first using a service such as this one to ensure that your time and money are well-spent.

September 19, 2014 at 12:53 amThis is an great tool for the public because it is a registry for coaches and mentors! This is something that is needed because consumers do what to research their coach or mentor before they start to work with them to make sure there is going to be a “bond”. This is excellent and glad to see it coming out.

September 19, 2014 at 1:08 amI appreciate there is a registry in action that allows me to check out who I am hiring as a coach. I want to know their background and their schooling before I start to work with them and I hope this is what type of information this registry will have setup.

September 21, 2014 at 6:52 pmI have had experience in buying something I thought would help out my website but ended up just wasting time and money. So many scammers are out there now, specially online and it is important for people to be aware of this. Some offer services that they don’t even back with legitimate information. Great post, thanks for sharing!
