1. Smile.

2. Surround yourself with people who bring out the best in you. Don’t place
yourself around individuals who suck your positivity from you or engage in
debates that leave you feeling depreciated.

3. Inspire yourself. This is an entirely personal concept. You know what
makes your heart flutter and what generates passion in your life. Follow
this inspiration.
4. Don’t listen to the opinion of non-dreamers.

5. Lend a helping hand.

6. Do what makes you feel good.

7. When you’re feeling grumpy, ticked off, or inpatient towards what
appears to be a mean-spirited individual, send them some love.

8. Forgive. Forgiving someone (or yourself) does not mean that you are
condoning that behaviour or abuse. When you hold onto resentment or
hatred, it is not simply harming the person that hurt you, but it is instilling
that pain deeper into yourself. Forgiveness is about releasing those
negative feelings that are holding you back from reaching your potential.

9. Get Fit, and Be Comfortable at the Gyms in palm springs.

10. Smile some more. :)

Love this. #8 is the best one. Maybe I am lucky that my memory tends to me short term or maybe better…if it is not useful I forget about it.
I am not a resentful person naturally so it is really hard for me to hold a “grudge”, so to speak, against someone. Usually by the next day or maybe two depending on how serious the situation was I have released the negative feelings. Very nice list and something I WILL remember 🙂

I wholeheartedly agree with number two on this list, perhaps more so than any of the other numbers. I’ve noticed that the company you keep can, and frequently does, rub off on you quite a bit. Sometimes I feel like two entirely different people solely because of who I’m around. If there are people who are constantly bringing you down, sometimes it really is best to limit the time you spend in their presence.

Going to copy this list to help me feel better each day. I tend to not smile enough and feel to grumpy. I could pass off as the grumpy cat. Need to smile more. Good list.

    Smile, Darn ya, Smile!
That song from Annie never failed to make me do just that. =)
Simply smiling has a huge effect on your own mood and the moods of those around you. That being said, I think that forgiveness is probably the most poignant point made in this article. “When you hold onto resentment or hatred, it is not simply harming the person that hurt you, but it is instilling
that pain deeper into yourself” could not be more true. A friend of mine once said that, “Unforgiveness is like chains around your heart.” Its true. And when you forgive, you take off those chains and feel that much lighter.

“Surround yourself with people who bring out the best in you. Don’t place
yourself around individuals who suck your positivity from you or engage in
debates that leave you feeling depreciated.”
I like to stress this one a lot. I never realized how one person can impact my life until I pulled myself out of the cross fire. I was in a 5 year relationship and I felt like I didn’t even know myself. I was always walking on egg shells to not make him mad. I felt guilty no matter what I said or did. I was so unhappy, so tired, so dead inside. I finally ended it because I knew he wouldn’t. I left with no money, no car, no job – but I am happier in spite all of that. So what does that tell you!?
