Did the Furka and Grimsell ! 
Up early and out by seven a.m. and went straight for the Furka Pass- only about 10 km from where I was staying. An incredible ride, very little traffic bright sunlight – the best time to do it. And then I could see in the distance the Grimsell pass – so on the spur of the moment I decided to do that one as well.
An even better ride- Stopped for coffee and cake,see photographs .
It felt like being on top of the world, 9:30 in the morning almost no traffic, bright sunlight, fantastic views, it doesn’t get much better.
Then I headed towards Geneva and took my time – about 170 miles but through beautiful Alpine valleys and villages stopping for coffee a couple of times. ( Of course – you can never have too much Coffee )
Spent the late afternoon and evening walking round either exploring stopping for the odd beer – see picture.
